Lack of dog poo bins.only one shower block with 3 in. Would be very busy in summer months.

Host was extremely polite and helpful but I can’t remember her name .
Site was very clean as were toilets, showers and washing up area were all immaculate . Lovely site in a peaceful location and the allocated hard standing areas for camper vans are huge and this gives you the privacy from the next pitch. Great site would stop again but hopefully without the rain ! 🙂

Not a dislike as such but with poor mobile signal better wifi would be helpful.

Very well organised site. Very clean with lovely warm showers. Good communal area.
Very friendly helpful staff.

Sound of traffic

The facilities were well appointed and clean. The receptionist was welcoming and gave clear instructions about where to camp. The staff were very helpful.
The views are lovely and the pitches were a good size. The reception area seemed to be well stocked with essentials which was reassuring.

The first night, our neighbours were noisy and didn’t observe the quiet time but we understand this is difficult to control. Despite clear signage, some visitors chose not to observe the instructions to help keep the washing up and shower facilities clean; again this is outwith the staff’s control.

The toilet and shower facilities were very good. Always clean and the shower was always nice and hot- perfect temperature.
Lots of taps for drinking water dotted around the site. There were also two washing up areas which were an added bonus.
Really liked the idea of the ‘common area’ which inside there were many useful amenities such as a toaster, microwave, kettle and fridge/ freezer for use if needed.
Along with a sofa / tv area which we did not use but is a lovely space to have.
The views were what really sold the campsite for us. Would highly recommend.

Nice pitch space, clean toilets & showers
You have to drive to any walking routes or places of interest but not a problem for us
Pizzas cooked on a Saturday evening which were nice!

No direct access to walking routes or towns so you have to drive if you want to go exploring

Absolutely loved the site, toilets were spotless as were the showers with instant hot water. Staff were friendly and attentive which made our stay all the more pleasurable. Thank you all at Gill Head. 😁
