What a great site. Brilliant facilities ( kettles to make a brew!) and playground near pitch which was great for children and adults alike ! Friendly welcome upon arrival. Very clean toilets and showers. Reception had useful supplies if needed. Great site

There were some flies in the communal area when using the kettle. No big deal and perhaps to be expected. But it didnt put me off using it ( it was a very welcomed addition to the site!). Only other thing to be aware of was that the local pub, whilst within walking distance, was very over priced IMO. And food not great

Very nice site with stunning scenery all around on the field we stayed on, looking directly at blencathra. Toilets and showers clean and a really peaceful site.

This is the second year staying in this beautiful location. The pod was just as comfy and relaxing as the year before. The staff at the whole site are lovely, friendly and always happy to chat even though they are busy people! Doesn’t help when I couldn’t remember the opening times of the reception area but even though I couldn’t.. there was always someone there to help! Thank you so much for a wonderful week!

The campsite is at a stunning location, we were pitched looking over at Blencathra. The facilities were super clean, the campsite overall was lovely and has everything you needed. The owners are super friendly and helped us out when needed! Will definitely be back.

This was a family friendly camp site with all you need for a nice time away to spend quality time. The views are spectacular and the owners/managers are so lovely.

There is a communal room with fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettles free to use. There is also TV, seating, board games and leaflets on the local area, you can also use the onsite WiFi here if needed.

There is toilets and a shower block and they sell a few things at the onside shop.

Overall this was a lovely place we just picked the coldest days of summer to camp and couldn't fully enjoy ourselves.

Great size pitches and good extras, like the indoor space

Issue with undesignated areas - - not clear which side of the grass was allocated to each pitch

Great site. Friendly staff, well kept grounds and great proximity to local hotel/restaurant. Will definitely return.
