Pitch and pub

WHAT A SHAME! Pitch great with neatly trimmed hedges separating each pitch. Good pub with great food and friendly staff, BUT really badly let down by toilet and shower block. Just one toilet for men (no urinals), one for women plus a disabled bathroom. Two showers each but tiny and dirty. There was no cleaning over the three nights we were there and I had to go to the pub to ask for the toilet rolls to be replenished. A real let down on what could be a great site

Not a lot

There were only a few working electric boxes that worked, the pitch we were given had a box but didn't work, there was no phone or TV signal free WiFi in the pub but couldn't use as it was very poor, only stay 1 of 2 nights, the drains were very smelly the toilets were very clean

Great location. Pub is great. Nice facilities - Could do with 1 or 2 more toilets but wasnt a big issue. Would definiately stay here again

Site was secure and tidy

Wasn’t impressed with how much it cost for one night at £40. We were next to the toilets/disposal so the smell was quite over whelming .. no toilet roll, basic stuff really .. the pub was nice but expensive.. no WiFi or signal ..

The place is quiet.
The management were accommodating, breakfast was good, plenty of parking.
Close to town

Toilets and bathrooms were never cleaned during our long stay. It was already stinky when we arrived so it got worse as the day went by specially over the weekend when the campsite got busier. People left things in the bathroom and that’s why you knew it was never cleaned. Puddle was always left in the bathrooms for both male female bathrooms as none of the guests took the time to mop the floor.

Close to town but far to walk, always have to drive because the weather was bad to walk on the walk paths

Food very good.

Toilet block not cleaned. No toilet roll. Not enough toilets, constantly having to wait.

Small camp site that is very well organised and laid out.
Despite the torrential rain we experienced, the site held up well and the ground did not feel soggy or flood.

Great restaurant on site.
