No radar key lock on disabled facilities meaning me who is disabled wasn’t able to use facility as always being used.

We liked that there were well maintained hedges to separate some of the pitches. All members of staff that we interacted with were really helpful and welcoming.

When booking there was no mention that if camping you wouldn’t be able to use the toilet facilities yet on our second day there were notices stuck up to say that we had to use the portaloos which didn’t make much sense as there was nothing saying we couldn’t use the shower facilities and they were in the same location and we were told we were able to use the toilets in the pub which again didn’t make much sense. The portaloos didn’t flush even when following the specific instructions given on how to flush them, trying to deal with this with young children was a challenge. The chemical waste disposal area isn’t positioned in the best location so a large area of the campsite smelt really awful, the play area is good for children older than 4 I would say as it’s mainly climbing and all quite tall stuff so even my 6 year old struggled to reach a lot of it. I do think it is a lot of money considering you aren’t allowed to use all the facilities that were shown when booking.

staff are lovely. left to get on with it. barrier gate entry for safety.facilities are clean and tidy.

only 3 toilets. one for men, one for women and a disabled toilet. awful smell in the shower/toilet block possibly due to being very close to chemical waste disposal.
camping field right next to a busy road so quite noisy.

Good sized clean pitches. Fairly well located for visiting different places. Convenient pub/restaurant but too expensive to use every day. Pitches were large and level though road serving pitches was narrow and this caused minor irritations with some pitches having 3 cars and blocking road.

Poor standard of cleaning of facilities, Just 1 WC for each sex so queuing/waiting inevitable with almost 30 pitches in total.

Nice site. Other reviews mention toilets were cleaned but saw them being cleaned in the mornings. Good in restaurant was lovely. Average price for the area. Not far to Torquay and Dawlish and a few forests great for dog walks. Pub dog friendly which is a great bonus and staff really lovely and helpful. Had phone signal but we are on EE.

Grey waste higher then should be on fully serviced pitch as it was sloped. Had some problems getting to water to drain but some fiddling got it to work eventually
