    Lovely place for a weekend stay with beautiful views. The host was very welcoming, and the firewood she provided was good for cooking also. (No chemical log, just normal wood)

    Great hikes around, you can leave your car at the camp and just wander out on foot in any direction.

    I definitely recommend this place for anyone.

    Fantastic little site could not fault it owners where very helpful and informative on our stay even brought the fire pit to our pitch which was a nice touch
    Disliked: 

    Did not really find anything wrong with the campsite the pitches are on a slope but we was already aware of this

    Amazing location right near ladybower reservoir and a nice walk to Derwent. Bamford on your door step. What more could you want? The best host Adele who looks after you as if you were family. Genuinely one of best camping experiences.

    I had a really enjoyable stay at Crook Hill Farm this weekend. This site is new and in my opinion this area of the Peak District has been in need of a decent camp site and now it has one. It's situated next to Ladybower and the surrounding area is stunning.

    Adele is lovely and nothing is too much trouble for her, the care she puts into things was there to see.

    I've been camping 40 plus years and I can't remember being on a quieter site, I had the best nights sleep in months.

    It's basic but that's at the behest of the National Trust who own the land, to me that's no bad thing as I want to go back to nature, the toilets are super clean.

    This site has the makings of being a gem in the Dark Peak and I wish them every success, I'll be visiting many times in the future.
