Beautiful scenery
Chickens and goats were a huge hit with the kids.
Exceptionally clean with one of the best kept toilet/ washroom I've ever seen at a campsite

Great little spot away from the road and walks out of the back of the site. they provided fire pits for a small fee which was great option to have. Lovely shower with under floor heating but only one so I wouldn't like to go if the site was too busy. Good area for washing up area and couple of portaloos. I will definitely return as I like the fact the site was small and quiet. Owner was lovely and accomodating.

We loved our experience here - the place was clean well kept the hosts were happy and helpful ! The bell tent was perfect .. we had bad weather but were still able to make the most of our one night stay ! Perfect wholesome family fun !

The facilities were incredible, the view was breathtaking and the overall atmosphere was beautiful! Definitely recommend and will be back again

Very pretty place, beautifully located

Only one shower, only one toilet (this one very neat, though) for the whole place, dish washing area (one) in the open (pretty uncomfortable when raining...)

Stunning location with jaw dropping views, hosts where welcoming.
Lovely shower room which is always very warm.

Not so much a dislike but advise to anyone else, this is a farm, they have a rooster, he is lovely however likes early wake up calls.

Unfortunately woken at crack of Dawn by owners cockerels situated right by camping. No one wants to be woken by that noise every day whilst on their holiday, not very thoughtful. Several campers were complaining. Also hens are let loose in camp field and pooing right by tents, it gets stood in, some people were frightened by the hens. Such a shame this spoilt our stay, if advertised Cockrells on site we wouldn’t have booked here. Paid up front but left early because of the noise.

- Plenty of space to pick a pitch
- Good location to nearby attractions like Zipworld
- Friendly, relaxed owners and their dogs :)
- Sheep, alpacas and chickens on site

- Just needed another shower / toilet as queued sometimes when site was a bit busier (glamping huts/pods use this too)
- Could do with a shelter over the washing up area as rain & wind was awful for us!
- Not an issue for us but the site is up a very steep, winding hill which might be difficult for motor homes etc
