We had a nice time! Cows were stinking though :(07/20/2025

Nice pitching area, secluded and away from the main road, lovely view of the side of the mountain, very close to Craig Y Nos and Dan Yr Ogof, some nice animals around to look at and interact with, good washing up facilities.

    Disliked:

Shower was a bit dodgy as the screen door was loose, someone's exfoliating glove was left in there also, the Highland cows on site were covered in matted feces and swarmed with hundreds of flies.

Lovely small rural campsite. Very quiet atmosphere with a soft background sound of farm animals. Amazing views and overall a great vibe.

    Disliked:

If travelling by motorbike be prepared for a steep but manageable road with a gravel path. There are several good grassy pitch sites, but most of the ground is too steep to pitch a tent.

A wonderful site on the edge of the Brecons. As described this is a simple site but special mention to the toilet/shower room. A huge shower with plentiful hot water.
We ordered Pizza's from our host on Saturday evening and they were delivered to our door and delicious.
We planned a circular walk to Henrhyd Falls - about 7miles in total.

Just got back from Cae Glas camping πŸ• B/H weekend
    It was amazing!

The hosts Mel & Aaron are the nicest friendliest people and can't do enough to help and make sure you're stay is perfect.

The field is lovely and so well kept, it's nice as only 10 pitches allowed no overcrowding and not noisy.
The surroundings are amazing, fields and mountains as far as the eye can see, so peaceful and relaxing, just breathtaking.

They also have a shepards hut with hot tub and a hut with a hot tub to book,
    both look lush!

They have 2 toilets & a shower, it the best shower I've ever used on a campsite I may add, it's a POWER shower and the shower cubicle is huge.
The block is fully heated too, so as soon as you step foot in the room you feel the warmth, it's so nice.

Mel has a lil shop she does the most amazing Pizzas πŸ• (to order)
    Hot & cold drinks
    Snacks and more.
They also sell firewood Β£7.50 for a big box more than enough for your firepit.

They also have the cutest lil farm with animals who are so friendly and you can pet them when you want to, they have....
    Pygmy Goats 🐐
    Pigs πŸ– (my favourite) πŸ™‚
    Chickens πŸ”
    2 beautiful Highland cows
    Donkeys 🫏
They also do Llama πŸ¦™ trekking, you can go for a walk through the fields with them on leads, so adorable to see.

They have a full recycling ♻️ station set up there too which is great πŸ‘

    I also had a fantastic signal 5G

I think I've pretty much covered it all lol!
I would 100% recommend Cae Glas and we can't wait for our next visit 😍

Thank You Mel & Aaron for the best weekend!!!!!!!
