Liked: Beautiful and quiet location. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Clean shower and toilet block with heating. Overall wonderful camping experience. This was my second time camping here and it was just as wonderful as the first time.

Liked: The small field was good.
Disliked: We arrived approx 6.30pm having travelled for nearly 4 hours, we weren't allowed to pitch our small camper van until we had 'booked in', yet the owner new who we were on arrival. I just wanted to pitch up, it was late, and my young daughter and I were very hungry, we had yet to go find somewhere to eat. My daughters father joined us having travelled separately but arriving at the same time. Again the owner insisted he pay to also stay in tge campervan before she would allow us to park our van.
Quite frankly, she was rude, no smile, no hello. This was our 5th and last stop on our road trip of Wales for one night, what a disappointment! I wish we had booked elsewhere. No wonder there was only one unit remaining on site as we left, surprisingly for a long bank holiday weekend.

Liked: No marked out pitches, amazing shower room with a fantastic shower, beautiful views, peaceful location but only a 10 minute drive to a shop.

You arrived with an extra guest that’s wasn’t booked in, our policy is that all guests check in on arrival so that check in instructions can be given, this is standard practice.
You were unhappy at having to pay for the extra person you brought, despite already being told on the phone earlier that day that they would have to be checked in and paid for, we are a business and not a charity, we were fully booked for the whole weekend and still accommodated your extra guest.
I am sorry if you felt I was rude but you do have to check in so we know who is on the campsite.
