Hardstanding pitch was smaller than we'd thought was booked, resulting in our driveaway awning being placed partly over mud rather than hardstanding.
Gas refills advertised on the website, however reception advised that campingaz refills are not available, only calor. However, when I looked in the cage behind reception there were 3 full (orange plastic tags on) campingaz 907 refills. When challenged, reception denied all knowledge so I ended up driving 80 miles to Padstow and back to find a replacement canister.
Site advertised as dog friendly, however the entertainment complex does not allow access to dogs. Therefore we were unable to take part in any of the entertainment on offer as I'm not leaving my dog in the campervan. Personally I think part of the entertainment complex should allow dogs, as occurs on many better sites that we've visited.
Toilet blocks appear to be cleaned once a day. However, through no fault of the park itself, the guests managed to make one hell of a mess of them by the evening. Visiting them in the morning was a lottery as to whether you could find a clean toilet.
This is definitely not a site we'll be returning to
