Cleanliness of the site, showers toilets etc. Great idea of a carvery on a Sunday for campers and locals alike. Close to local bus route.

Pitch size and location was fab near the toilets/showers which were heated. Shop was great and the girl working there was super friendly.

A very poor welcome by the girl on reception with the short hair. She was very rude in her communication, told us there was a private function for the weekend, we could attend for £65 each or basically put up with the loud music. We asked why we were not told about this. She said we should’ve booked direct and they would’ve told us. She had a ‘sorry not sorry!’ Attitude and almost took enjoyment out of our concern as first time tourers. Disgusting behaviour. I work in hospitality/tourism and manage a team of receptionist. This one Should be sacked! We left early as didn’t get any sleep!

Great facilities, lovely warm shower block . Great indoor pool with aqua aerobics class with Fizz who was a brilliant upbeat instructor. Would definitely go to her classes again if staying .
Good location walked into Looe,Hannafore point and Polperro but you do need a fairly good level of fitness .
Good dog evecise field on site .

Club house was closed to anyone who had not purchased a weekend ticket for £65 . We were not even aware that this was an 80s weekend, it was not listed on pitch up when we booked . We tried to go into the club house for a drink and was refused .

Not a lot to like really

On checking in we were told "we have a lot of tourers in this weekend" - not true - basically a lot of what were possibly once tourers or the original holiday caravans, many with very dilapidated awnings and in a stage of disrepair. There seemed to be the odd person in and out of a couple of them who looked like they lived there. A site of two halves - the half you see on the tv (holiday lodges) and the "caravan site".

Shower block was clean but showers nothing more than a dribble in the male and female blocks.

Layout of park. Excellent shower facilities. Good shop.
