The hosts communication was informative and helpful, friendly on our arrival and close by if any issues.
Spotless toilet/ shower facilities. Showers had plenty of space for getting dressed afterwards and everything stayed dry.
The site was peaceful and well maintained.
Our hut was in a corner with lots of privacy and outdoor seating.
Had most of what we needed for a comfortable stay.
We loved the ping pong table, something different that we all enjoyed.
I felt the children had plenty of space and freedom to play safely without coming to harm or annoying other campers.

I would've liked it if the bunks had duvets too, as the double did.
Although I feel in general the hut provided us with what we needed, a mirror would've been a handy addition.

Fabulous site. Joanne was very welcoming. Large pitches separated by privacy hedges. Toilet block was immaculate every day and even had a hairdryer and baby changing mat (you don't always see this!). Their homemade apple juice is divine and they have an outside table tennis with some bats and a ball. There's no WiFi on site but this didn't bother us, my daughter spent most of her time walking over to the alpaca in a nearby field to say hello. Overall really impressed and can see why this is rated so highly.

Remote, peaceful location, great pitch sizes, toilet and shower block are super clean. Rufus the alpaca is very cute! Will definitely stay here again.

The facilities were spotless. The pitches were huge and well maintained. Small campsite in a very small village with no immediate amenities but nice pubs and shop under 10 min drive in either direction.

Lovely clean quiet site in a good location for forrest of dean activities with children(puzzlewood etc). Host was welcoming and friendly.
