Absolutely fantastic. What a lovely place to camp. Never been to Wales, but received a warm welcome on arrival. Pitch area was well maintained and very tranquil, easy access and parking. Owners were so helpful with sorting my various journey routes and rail queries. Bathroom facilities were spotless and also the lovely little shop/reception. Couldn’t fault this site and highly recommend. Would certainly want to revisit.

The weather

The toilets were fithy everyday when we made a complaint the warden went and tidied swished a brush around to toilets but a proper clean wasn't done until later that day every day after they were dirty with toilets blocked and left without flush I visited the ladies and there were two young girls messing around in there wetting the floor with the mop meant for the showers leaving toilet roll all over the floor. The site was not clean they tell you to.pick up after your dog this was not done on the site or in the dog area with dog mess everywhere. We were right next to a road which can only be described as like been like a motorway with tractors,motor bikes and car zooming up and down all hours of the day and night. Then just up the road is a go kart track where you can race bikes or go karts so all you can hear is the roar of bikes and go kart (no chance to relax with all that noise). The site looks fantastic on paper but in reality it is definitely does not live up to any reviews we read before booking. We have given the accommodation 5 stars as it was our own caravan. I can honestly say this is the worst site we have ever stayed on we would not recommend it to our worst enemy. We think the owners/wardens need to think about reviewing their cleaning schedules, allowing children to mess around in the toilets and allowing people to get away with not clearing up after the dogs.

The site was quite small and had a shop for amenities. Showers were lovely and hot.

Nearby village of Cowbridge is lovely.

Next to a karting track, sometimes noisy, got told to move car 1st night to the back of caravan then, after three nights of sleeping in roof tent told to move again as fire hazard.
Regular site stayers think they own it. WiFi absolutely rubbish.

The only thing we liked was the weather it was lovely and a few people on the site itself were lovely. Did get a refund for day's due to leaving early.

Booked in January asked for a pitch near shower block as wife is disabled got a call to say moving to site across the road which is adults only. This was incorrect
When arrived the pitch was so far away from the shower block wanted to cry. Got moved to what was no more than a parking space. Disabled toilet was used by everyone and dirty if you go see if the dead spider is still above the hand dryer. Left early as couldn't stay any longer did get a refund on nights didn't stay. This site is simply for those who keep their caravans on there all year long not for touring as all the good spaces taken. No information on were shops were or were to eat out had to Google everything.

Very friendly staff … nothing too much trouble…. Clean facilities… hot showers …. Everything well maintained…. Love staying here

Slightly too close to the seasonal caravan pitches

Safe and friendly family atmosphere, everyone enjoyed the freedom to play and have a Barbecue.

Gocart track next door, so wouldn't Want to have a pitch next to the fence, however they are all taken up with season piiches.
