Liked: We enjoyed the privacy of the riverside pitch and the site had a semi wild feel, where you could switch off from the outside world as there was minimal phone signal (there is WiFi near reception if needed). The site was nice and quiet and the toilet and shower block were clean.

Good ground for camping.

Handy on site shop.
Picnic benches.
Great location.
Access to fridge/freezer.Disliked: Would have liked to hire a fire pit but the price was expensive for a short (2 night) stay.
Would highly recommend, hope to return one day.

Liked: The layout of the site. Plenty of facilities. Communal area was useful, both for the (most boring). England match, and for shelter from the elements.
Mark, the owner, went above and beyond when I needed an impromptu visit to the Urgent Care Unit in Penrith.Disliked: Nothing.
