Great location for Keswick and Aira Force, easy to get to from A66.
Toilets and showers were always very clean. Campsite doesn’t feel crowded even though we were there at half term.
The real blessing for us was the communal area as we had bad weather, so having a clean cosy space to sit and chat was brilliant.
Lovely to see peacocks and chickens roaming about too!Disliked: –

Nice reception shop for last minute shop.
Good communal area for TV, WiFi, toaster, microwave, fridge.
Play areas for kids.
Pub is a little walk back to main road.Disliked: WiFi not strong enough for site.

Liked: The site is lovely. It,s clean, well maintained and has everything needed including a communal room with cooking facilities.
Disliked: The only issue was the noise from the main road ! Not the site's fault obviously.

Liked: We loved everything about the site, sheep, cows, chickens, peacock and the playground. The toilets and showers are very close to the pods and so warm at night for 5 month old and 6 year old. Location was great to visit Ullswater and lowther castle. The communal room was great with microwave and fridge and freezer. We didn't want to leave and would love to come back in summer
