The site was clean and safe- showers and toilet blocks well maintained and beautiful surroundings.
Adding another night to the booking was so easy and we had a lovely stay!

The guy running the site was very helpful and constantly working hard to keep everything ship shape.
The scenery is unbelievable with mountains and fast flowing river. Beautiful walks and the kids made friends. The site has everything you need to camp. Had a really good week

Lots of space to setup camp away from neighbours. Facilities were always clean. Basic but had everything I needed. A*****

Road on other side of the river could get busy at times but never kept me awake.

Ideal location for Cadair Iris and other mountains in that range

20 mins to Barmouth

Only one bog in men’s 😏

The campsite is remote and nestled at the side of the river with a long grass feel. You are able to camp anywhere and don’t really have any involvement with any staff. The river is nice for a swim and overall it’s a back to basics kind of place.

The camp site is unmanaged with poor toilets and the ladies even has a hole in the floor that is not part of the intended design. The hole is covered over with vynal but does feel like if you stand there for too long you will sink about like a scene out of jamanji. This is not ideal with young children. Areas of the field are muddy and so probably one to be avoided if you don’t have a 4x4 in wet weather

Good site, lovely views, portaloos spread around which I liked. Friendly staff. No fuss.
