Absolutely amazing. Perfect for a peaceful get a away

The fact that it's not commercialised and is ran by a family. It's so clean and well kept. The owners are such lovely people, chatty and very helpful. I struggled getting my new tent up, but they came and Kent a hand with another camper, and managed to get it sorted. They also let us stay an extra night, no issues. The showers are lovely and warm, toilets clean and well maintained. You can borrow a firepit for free, and purchase logs, kindling etc, which were a good price. The stream next to the camp was great for the kids as it wasn't too deep and they could play safely, and was crystal clear. There wasn't loads of tents around, so the kids could run free one field and play ball games etc with no problems. It's not far from the village centre of Dolgellau, plus there is a garage, an ice cream store, and a Starbucks just up the hill, 5 minute walk away. It's around an hour away from Aberystwyth and Abersoch, and around 40 minutes from Barmouth, so not too bad. I'd definitely be coming back ❤️oh and gorgeous views too x

Huge field with plenty of space, the showers were fantastic, the toilets clean - even the portaloos that were dottted around the site were clean and kept well stocked. Owners very welcoming. We didn’t get chance to use the fire pits but that was a lovely touch. Fantastic site we loved it

We first stayed at this site in 2021 and there have been modifications since such as the portaloos dotted about. The views of Cadair Idris are wonderful and its such a peaceful site to kick back and relax, I wish we had booked for longer. We had a tent pitch with EHU which was great. Loved our stay

The location is beautiful

The toilets and showers were poorly maintained - ladies loo had no lock.
Large groups were allowed to play loud music and run amok until they chose to sleep in the early hours of the morning keeping our children awake.
Very expensive considering the level of service and facilities on offer

Stuniing location, very accessible to the coast/Mountains. Showers and toilet facilities good.

Lacks hot water for washing up. Wished the mid field access to the beautiful river was more dog friendly-it was very hot when we were there, and my elderly dog couldnt make it over the stile. A gate would be a good addition .

Lovely little campsite, very quiet.
Inbetween bala lake and barmouth so much to see.
Clean, wash facilities, everything needed for the fire
Very peaceful break, will definitely book again
