Fire pits available.
Loads of free space for children to play.Disliked: Electric cut out twice but that’s probably due to the rubbish weather!
No hot water in the toilets or to wash up with.Could use some more toilets, the females had 3 & the men’s only had 1 & some urinals.
They have “quiet hours” but each night there was loud music into the early hours.

We are a group of older people and struggle to book a site for us all as most sites don't allow groups.
The toilets and shower facilities are clean and spacious, this time there where porta toilets around the field. The space on the field is also great. The owner always comes over to check we are all ok.
This is definitely a site we will be back too

Liked: Lovely location, close to dolgellau and the mawddoch trail. Beautiful views
Disliked: We have stayed in a variety of caravan parks over the years with varying costs. This is one of the most expensive ones we have stayed in but the most basic. The toilets and showers are in trailers which are very open and exposed and could do with more cleaning when it's busy. Also there were only three women's toilets for a very large caravan park. No hot water to wash hands in the toilets either. There is a generator for the electric hook up which was very temperamental. We wouldn't of minded the basic facilities as we are not fussy normally but when paying £42 a night you expect even the most basic facilities like hot water and comfortable toilet facilities.
Thanks for the review. We will take your comments on board and discuss accordingly. We do clean the toilets and facilities as regular as possible but can become difficult when toilets are in constant use over peak times. Touring grass pitches are priced at around £24 a night with an extra fee for electric hookups, therefore am unsure about the price noted in your review. Many thanks.

Liked: Lovely view, river goes near the campsite. A lot of space for everyone. There are temporary toilets and the stationary. Showers were clean and warm. Very friendly owners. I enjoy the stay and would come again.

Toilet old no lights main toilet floor is not safe and doors don't close little sink.needs lots of updates for a field so far out from everything.no where to wash your dishes area would be nice .no fresh water area had to use bottles of water all the time .Road is very tight so becareful.showers of warm but small.site could do with lot of updating sorry.
Thanks for the feedback. As stated we are a back to basics site, therefore don't have facilities like play areas for children and we don't advertise that we do. The main toilet block does have lights and the switches are there for anyone to turn on/off. We apologise that you weren't able to locate the washing up sink and water tap - they are located by the office on site. Perhaps we need better signage to make people aware of this. As for the location of the site and the road, there isn't much we can do but are always looking to improve the facilities on site when possible. Thanks again.

Liked: Stayed for a week Tuesday night till Wednesday morning. Is a lovely site beautiful views and quiet away from the main road. The facilities are great, lovely clean shower block with hot water for the showers. Electric is ran off a generator in the centre of the site that is very quiet and didn’t keep any of us awake. There are no designated pitches so our group could camp together. Took our dogs too plenty of woodland walks and fields for them to run around.
Disliked: Because there are no designated pitches another group did park up rather close. This is not an issue either the site however as there was plenty of space available.
