Liked: We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful grounds, excellent fishing, scrumpy lodge was lovely! It was very clean and tidy and well looked after.
Disliked: Because there was a cowboy evening on Saturday the bar and restaurant was closed on site!
I do think people that booked should have been told this before their stay.
Hi. Iam glad you enjoyed your stay. We apologise about that but it was advertised on our website and face book for a good few months before the event. Everyone was welcome to attend the Country and Western night onsite and off. Even though the bar and cafe were closed that night we were still serving food and alcohol from the events field. We also extended the cafe opening hours on that day by 2 extra hours. Thank you for your review.

Liked: Everything about this site was great! Lisa welcomed us with great enthusiasm and we immediately felt comfortable. It was my 3 little ones first time camping and they absolutely loved it! The country and western night held on the Saturday was also fantastic and again, wonderful crowd, great entertainment and we just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cafe is perfect, prices are great, not overpriced at all. The whole site is clean and well maintained. We were joined by friends and all our tents were next to each other so that was great and the kids had loads of playing space. The toilet and shower block was immaculately clean and well stocked with toilet roll. I had an absolutely brilliant weekend camping here and will 100% be back!

Liked: Everything, we were able to stay next to our friends. The owner was friendly and accommodating. Loved the facilitys, excellent for camping. It was great having somewhere on site to get excellent food. We will be going back next year
Disliked: The fact we had to go home, could of happily stayed for much much longer.

Liked: Our little hut was very cute and the bed was very comfortable so slept very well.
The site looks great with plenty of trees surrounding all the lakes.
The bar has reasonable prices and plenty of seating areas outdoors to enjoy the drink in the Sun.
The breakfast in the cafe was really tasty and very filling despite going for the small one.Disliked: Limited shower and toilet facilities

Disliked: Would have been great if a sweeping brush and pan to sweep inside was provided having my dog with me it would have been very handy ( I had to go get one from the shop and my dog is so hairy )

Liked: We had such a great time. Thankyou for being so acomodating and allowing us to pitch the tents by Hideaway cabin, so we could all be together. Your facilities were excellent and probably the best we have come across, with copious amounts of hot water at the washing up area and in the showers. Lovely clean toilets too. Cafe on site served us a delicious breakfast on our last morning. We will definitely be back!
