Quiet site which was well managed

Unable to shower 1 morning, 1 evening. Lack of public transport.

Excellent location, lovely staff & site.

More toilets, the site wasn’t 1/2 full and queues for toilets.

Excellent facilities and quiet setting . The woodland walk here is lovely aswell. There’s a couple nice pub’s literally outside the campsite and more in surrounding towns. The staff are really friendly and they have a shop on site which offers loads of great stuff .

Smooth grass area and easy to push pegs in. Clean and warm shower and toilet facilities. Washing up area with plenty of sinks. Shop at the front had good stock. Motorbike able to be parked next to my tent.

Going home

Good location and great layout, facilities block clean and worked well. Lots of external facilities like a pub and cafe only a few minutes walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay at the camping site, great location for hiking!

I would suggest installing more washing machines and driers as well as getting more tokens for them, I believe the waiting times in the summer season could be long with just one appliance.
I would also like to see roofs installed over the sitting areas so there is space for food prep in bad weather. The only roofed table and benches were by the laundry room and the roof was so low we both hit our heads multiple times, the roof should be either higher or there should be a health and safety signage warning about low height. Overall we had a good experience, these issues didn't put us off but they are worth addressing. We will be back anyway at some point.

Clean tidy plenty of spaces to camp, nice green grass to pitch your tent. Lovely scenery. Toilets and shower block Clean and tidy. Receptionist very friendly.

There was a lovely cafe about 15min walk away lovely cook breakfast.

And a nice food pub across the road. We only had drinks there.

As we where near the far end it was quite a distant to go to the toilet.
Maybe it would be useful to have a small wooden toilet block. But that the only thing we found that could of done with improvement.
