Very clean friendly welcoming everything you need in a campsite would definitely recommend this site

Excellent location, 12 minute drive to Scafell Pike and pub was in walking distance, serving huge delicious portions of food and local ale. The bathroom facilities on site were very clean with lovely hot showers. Great campsite layout with a little woodland walk on site to vista point views of the hills surrounding. Nice quiet location.

Our stay here was honestly amazing! The campsite is really easy to find and is surrounded by beautiful hills we could sit and look at from our tent. The staff are friendly, wonderful and extremely helpful and the reception/ shop has everything you could need, perfect for if you’ve accidentally forgotten something!

The showers/ toilet block were warm, really clean and easily accessible. We will definitely be back here :)

Site manager very friendly, well stocked shop and lovely location with sites of surrounding mountains. Only reason for us not to return is lack of Wi-Fi/TV signal. Lovely site if this wouldn’t affect you

Road works in area made it difficult to follow directions however these will obviously not be permanent. No Wi-Fi signal and unable to get Tv signal

Warm and friendly site. Shop was well stocked, toilet block clean and warm, drying room was fabulous!

How close it was to scafell pike, how helpful and friendly the people who worked there were. The shower block was nice and clean and shop had useful stuff in. Great location.

Amazing stay in the shepherd's hut. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The Woodburner was also a highlight.
