Lovely clean site

Mostly everything. It was a nice clean site with great showers and toilets. Staff where really friendly and food at Little Barney's was amazing. Also loved the fact we weren't allocated a with for our tent so we could choose which one we wanted.

The tent electric pitches were layed out weird and they could do with being marked out abit better

Free for all for tents which caused some friction when arriving due to not much space for tents/cars

Loverly site, well maintained and spotless. Both shower blocks very clean and lovely hot water. Very strict with arrival and departure time, but understandable because of the narrow lane, we had no problems. We stayed on the adult pitches that are very big, plenty of room for caravan, awning, car. Nice and quiet. We did enjoy ourselves 😁👍🏻

But.....the only thing that spoiled it for us was I think we was only pitch that had a overhanging oak tree which resulted in acorns dropping usually on a night which sounded like a war zone, 3 nights of broken sleep. Reception were really understanding and kind (we did have a giggle about the acorn saga ). You can't help nature I get that and there was no where else for us to pitch so we unhooked everything and moved forward and down very lucky the pitches were so big and it made it alot better. Should have done it after first night 🤷‍♂️note to self...look up when pitching 😁👍🏻 note to owners...maybe look at pruning in the winter 😁👍🏻 still enjoyed ourselves 👍🏻

Beautifully kept site. Shower block very clean and well maintained.
Staff consistently emptying bins

Our only dislike was the gravel pitch was very hard to put pegs in so we had to buy new rock pegs and borrow a metal mallet from someone else who said everyone was borrowing it. Maybe a warning on site to alert people to this beforehand. We have a footprint groundsheet plus carpet and it was very sharp underfoot when not wearing shoes.

The peace and quiet, the pitch’s were a good size ,great shower block,
The little bar was great for food and drinks,live music was great.
Only 30 minutes from the coast .

The facilities, the care taken around the site and the shop with fresh eggs being a bonus! Only thing is could stock some gluten free items in shop but the bar does do GF.
