Liked: Well waht can I say a Beautiful part of the world , loads of walks located close by or a short drive away great location.... the campsite was spotless so peaceful , Toilets spotless , showers etc again perfect would definitely go back 👍

Liked: Lovely site. Really good quiet location and beautiful views but close enough to Colne to pop to the shops. The site is lovely, big pitches and great facilities. Lovely showers, washing up facilities and toilets. BBQs allowed and fire pits and wood starter kits can be purchased on site. Everyone seems to respect the 10pm quiet time even on a busy bank holiday weekend. Will be visiting again soon.

Liked: Beautiful views. Nice staff. Very basic but just how we like it. Toilets were porta cabins but they were spotless whole time we were there. Little van selling pizzas (don’t think that’s every night) and also selling delicious ice cream.

Grim toilet and washing facilities. 4 toilets, 4 showers and 2 washing up stations for 2 huge fields of Campers, Family Tents and Backpacking Tents!
1 Drinking Water Tap on entire site.
1 Bin/re-cycling point, hence many just dumped their rubbish (not an excuse).
Noisy road, top field. Mostly Campers since it was one of the few level areas.
Very noisy on Friday night, group of 5 families loud until 2.00am.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! however the majority of your points are factually incorrect. We take pride in keeping our facilities lovely and clean and as many other campers who have left reviews for the same time period that you stayed, they also agree. As for the drinking water there are actually 2 designated drinking water points around the site and we have 3 large recycling bins that are emptied numerous times across the weekend. We also have 4 washing up areas on the site which seems to be the perfect amount for the amount of people we often have on site. I did not notice anyone having to queue for a prolonged period of time at any point over the course of the weekend for any of the facilities! Finally, for the noise issue, I personally walk round the entire site at 10pm to quiet down any campers that may be causing any noise issues and quiet them down. after that if I am not made aware of any issues, they cannot be addressed. Had you given me a call they would have been dealt Immediately!

Liked: When we arrived to Shay Gate Farm we were greeted by a lovely woman who made us feel welcome and explained where everything was on site. The campsite had great facilities. The toilets were kept clean throughout the day, there were space for washing pots which included fridge freezers for everyone to use and shower facilities. The campsite itself had plenty of space for many campers.
Disliked: Uneven field so uncomfortable for those sleeping in tents.
