Disliked: Only thing was being in a camper van it wasn’t level but that can’t be helped
Lovely and clean, wood is a bit pricey but you're a captive audience.

Liked: Loads of open space on a lovely quiet camp site, had all the basic facilities you'd need- toilets, water, showers, refuse area and the staff were brilliant at bringing out what you needed- Fuel for the firepits (which you can hire for your trip too apparently though we'd brought our own) Really helpful and available when needed.
Great location for scenery and access to other areas, not far from Wycoller.
Loved the converted horse boxes for showers / wash spaces.
The toilets were simple but clean and well stocked/ regularly cleaned.
All round loved the place.
Tons of space for exploring play in the field.Disliked: Not exactly a dislike but something to note- you do need to boil the water on site before drinking, so something to be aware of - take something to do a cuppa in.

Liked: We loved the amazing views of the rolling hills. The pitches were large with easy access. The facilities were clean and well lit: we liked the horse box showers. The owners were friendly and attentive and provided us with a firepit kit for £10.
The site was easy to get to and only a few miles from Colne for supplies.Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
As the site is exposed it was windy at times so a robust tent set up is required.

Disliked: The ground wasnt really suitable for a larger motorhome...which should have been mentioned on booking,walking...we are walkers and had to go via the busy road right next to the campsite which wasnt good when you have young children, we ended up turning round and going back to the campsite..the facilties was ok, showers made from what looked like tin horseboxes...but looked great!
No instuctions on what to do on arrivial....just park up wherever,pitches arent level at all ...all in all we wont go back to this site it defintley wasnt worth the £20 plus the added extras you have to pay for...£5 to put an awning up..£5 to take your dog but as to be kept on a lead....if im paying for my dog i expect it to get the same freedom as a child which you also have to pay extra for..defintley was not worth the money,we have been to really basic campsites all over the country with similar facilities... don't pay more than £15...we havent never been on a campsite where you have to pay per person and not per unit...dont think we have paid over £25 for a hardstanding pitch with electric hookup! we didn't even see any of the staff to comment on them...only saw them driving around in a vehicle.

sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay as much as we would have liked, however i feel as though all of these issues could of been resolved if you simply got in touch with us? We are around the campsite all the time cleaning and delivering fire pits and would of been more than happy to answer any questions you may have! Our footpath goes straight through the campsite so there is no need to go on the road at all, especially with kids. As we are a smaller campsite we don't have tons of strict rules and regulations or where you can and cannot go unlike other sites. However the reason you were given no instruction at all on arrival was due to that you never stopped and called to check in at the check in sign! which if you had you also would of had my number for me to answer any questions day or night if you didn't catch me on site.
