Good pitches, Warden fantastic and very friendly, toilets emasculate and cleaned regularly.

Nothing to dislike.

On arrival we were met by Wayne (warden) who greeted us and directed us to our pitch, being a novice at reversing a caravan Wayne offered to do it and i took him up on the offer.

Wayne showed us the facilities and gave us an idea of the local attractions.

The site was secured by a double gate for entry and exit and it operated a one way track around the site for safety. Gate is coded and were given a little business card with the code and WIFI password which is free to use and signal was good all weekend.

Wayne based on site for the duration of our stay was seen walking the site and making sure everybody was okay. A real pleasant guy who was passionate about his job as warden and very thoughtful.

Kids had a little park to entertain themselves and could play with footballs etc.

Site felt very secure and clean, facilities for the size of the site were adequate and maintained. Plenty of fresh water points, each pitch had its own power, grass was cut and clean, track around the site was pebbled and easy enough to drive around

Pitched along the roadside the road wasn't very busy and we were not disturbed by it.

It was overall a fantastic little site with a mixture of families and couples. I would stay again and this time remember my rods for fishing.

We tried to rearrange because when we hitched our caravan and drove down the road we had a warning light on the car and the car went into limp mode. This was 3.30 pm and could not get into a local garage . Called sight and was told we couldn't rearrange. But see what he could do !!!!!!! Well we lost the whole payment for 2 nights with 2 dogs. And I never heard a thing from them .

We used this site as we’re complete newbies and wanted somewhere local. On arrival we were greeted really well by the warden. He walked us to our pitch and helped guide us on. He even helped when we had a problem with water! The site and facilities were very well kept and clean and the pub next door was a bonus! With a great play area for the kids. We’ll definitely go back again!
