We liked all the animals on the farm, the dogs were great! Clean facilities and a lovely view from the tent. Thanks again.

Not a dislike but just to be aware there are no children allowed, so we wouldn’t be able to return with the family unfortunately.

Relaxing location with plenty of space. Excellent scenic views of the valley below. Close enough to commute to popular locations but far enough away for peace and seclusion. Great hosts and we could not have chosen a better campsite for a week away. Staff friendly with all the amenities you need.

We all loved the animals around especially the dogs that would come and chill by the fire with us, the staff were very friendly but left us to it which we loved and the quiet setting was so relaxing and had stunning views of Cumbria. Facilities were clean and easy to access 24/7 plus charging station easy to find :) Local village was very close and the camp site was easy to find.

Ground was a tad bit tough to pitch up the tents but this was a very minor issue and can’t fault the campsite at all!

Lovely land and so nice to have the animals nearby, some of them wandering free. The view was great where we were.
Situated near Broughton-in-Furness via a good 35 minute walk. Ideal location.

I found the showers a bit unappealing myself, and more toilets may have been helpful, for privacy and no waiting.

Being met on arrival with the owner. She told us all relevant info. Lovely little working farm with dogs and animals. Quiet, peaceful site with a lovely walk. And we drove to a nearby pub for tea. It was literally somewhere we needed to stay to break up our journey. We were only there for roughly 13 hrs so didn’t use the facilities other than the toilet. We stayed in the train rail pod. Would recommend the site.
