Loved the communal room where there is a fridge and freezer for ice packs, a microwave, toaster etc. There's even a TV!
The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean.

wow what a beautiful site and roomy, we were in the area next to the river nice and quiet, lots of walks near by, staff in reception very helpful and staff around the site easy to talk any questions they will assist with.

Would loved even more if WiFi went too the pods. Only disappointing thing for me. But then I also enjoyed the peace ♥️

Beautiful area, lovely walks nearby. Everyone was so friendly (both the workers/owners and the other campers).

This was my 3rd stay. The facilities at the campsite are excellent with a communal room that has kettles, toaster, microwave and fridge /freezer. The showers and toilets are clean. Showers have lovely hot water which was welcomed after a day spent in the rain
Gorgeous views of blencathra. Quiet at night. 15 mins drive to keswick, pooley bridge or penrith.

Lovely view from the camping field and the communal room and facilities were very handy.

The views over towards Blencathra were fantastic even on an grey morning. The site has been very quiet the two times we’ve been even when it looked quite full; people are respectful. Toilets and showers are really clean. The communal area was ideal to make a cuppa when we came with minimal gear. Even has a fridge and freezer for people who are they for longer than a few days. Staff were friendly.
