The camping area is really well maintained and the facilities are spot on.
The park is in a great location, ideal if you want to get out walking. Also, ideal location for getting in to York and only 30-40 min drive from Scarborough/Filey if you fancy a beach trip.
The staff on site were brilliant! Really friendly and welcoming!
We'll definitely stay here again.

Nice clean site, and immaculate facilities. Really friendly and helpful owners, couldn't have been nicer! Loved it here but our tent gave up, will be back with a new tent some time soon for sure! Great location, handy for York and surrounding activities. Thanks again!

Lovely peaceful site , nice airy toilets and showers.
The warden/ owner was extremely helpful and went over and above his role , when our inverter and or battery gave issues that drained our battery . What a super helpful and knowledgeable gentleman.

Nothing to dislike

The owners of the site were extremely friendly and we loved the fact she showed us to our pitch on her push bike it felt really welcoming. The showers and toilets were spotless and there was plenty of hot water which was great! Had no problems with the electric hook up on our grass tent pitch and the water tap was just a few meters away. Had cinder blocks for bbq which was nice so we didn't have to worry. Would definitely stay again especially since the bus stop for York Centre is just down the road!

We had a really good experience from start to finish, we pulled up and the host waved us over. She Gave us all the information we needed along with a leaflet of the local area.

We was then shown where the toilets were located and where our pitch was. The pitch size was excellent, well maintained and clearly marked out. The toilets are clean and tidy with nice hot water.
