Liked: Clean and plentiful facilities. Friendly and helpful couple running the site. Lots of space. Great location. Bus right outside gate to take us to and from York.
Disliked: A wee park for the kids would have been a bonus.

Thank you for your review. Our showers are normally very hot and site staff didn't get any report to the contary during your stay as it would have been looked into. We hope that if you visit again the showers will be to your satisfaction.

Liked: A very well maintained, pretty site. Generous sized pitches and quiet on the hard standing ground. A field to allow the dogs to run free, much appreciated. Great location to explore. Toilet shower block is clean. Gorgeous stars at night. Friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Unfortunately the shower temperature wasn’t consistent (too hot I.e I couldn’t stand in it then too cold). People attaching flags to their caravans seems popular here! Never seen it before. They are really loud and annoying when flapping in high winds for people under canvas in what would otherwise be a peaceful nights sleep.
