Liked: We recently stayed at Castle Brake Holiday Park in Devon and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional.
The electric pitch we booked was of outstanding quality – level, spacious, and immaculately maintained. The on-site facilities were excellent and thoughtfully laid out, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. A particular highlight was dining at the Castle Inn pub. The food was delicious, especially the ham, egg, and chips – the ham is produced right on site, and the quality was superb.
However, what really set Castle Brake apart was the outstanding customer service. Due to severe traffic on the M5, we arrived later than expected, after 6pm. Despite the delay, the team welcomed us warmly and went out of their way to ensure we settled in smoothly. To top it off, when we discovered one of our air mattresses had failed, they kindly loaned us a replacement for the night – an incredibly thoughtful gesture that truly made a difference.
In a world where great service can sometimes be hard to come by, Castle Brake sets a shining example. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this park to anyone visiting Devon, and we already know exactly where we’ll be staying next time we return.

Liked: Absolutely superb! The staff are really friendly and helpful (even escorted us to our pitch on arrival) the facilities are second to none and always immaculately clean. Beautiful walks on site. Excellent location for tents to the facilities and lovely that we had electric and water hook up in with the price. The on site was reasonable and lovely diverse choice of menu. Will definitely be staying again 😁
Disliked: Quite expensive (£5 per day) for WiFi but there was good signal all over camp anyway

Liked: Loved the friendly welcome and very helpful staff. Enjoyed our anniversary meal in the Castle Brake Inn with great service from Kieran(hope I got that right). Lovely site with a woodland walk and saw a woodpecker early in the morning. Fabulous views of the exe.
Heated floor in the showers is most welcome. Very clean facilities. Seems to be very family friendly with a play ground, football field and walks.Disliked: Having to leave at 11 am!

Liked: We stayed on the new premier pitch and it was perfect, level, easy access to the shower block. The club house was amazing and the food was delicious. Perfect location for walks, out on our bikes and exploring around Devon.
