Powered grass tent campsite (large)
Liked Site is lovely - quiet, within 10 mins easy walk to Hele Bay, nice sized pitches, excellent shower/toilet facilities.
Staff are helpful, play park is great and there is a lovely shaded nature walk. We saw so many butterflies around the park and could hear owls at night.
Disliked Only problem was closing the showers, toilets and washing up area 11.30am-1pm to clean them.
This was tricky as we were in tents and had no other access to toilet/sinks.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. It is so lovely to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. Many of our guests comment on the sounds of nature all around and the peace and tranquility of our park. We do have a family room that we leave open whilst the main shower block is being cleaned, which enables our guests to have access to toilet facilities. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

Liked Corinne and the Welcome Team were all really lovely and very helpful. We stayed in the school holidays so the campsite was pretty full, however the pitches felt like a good size, nice and flat and didn't feel as though we too close to other campers.
The site has 2 pools, we used both and did not book ahead but were able to access them as "walk ins". We also liked being able to walk over to the sister site and use their pool and play area too, all the facilities and pools were clean and well manged.
Despite the camping facilities block being dated and in need of a refurb, they have kept it very clean and made it look beautiful on the outside with gorgeous flower displays.
Disliked The campsite toilet and shower block is dated and in need of a refurb, it is very old and the showers are poor. They were always kept clean but don't feel so nice and the water pressure on the showers is awful. Tricky to wash out the shampoo!
There had been a lot of wet weather the week before we arrived and as a result there was a lot of straw put down to try to soak up the water. Unfortunately this just led to it blowing everywhere and always being in the tent but I understand this can't really be helped!
Only other issue is the usual camping complaint of inconsiderate neighbours - the ones who let their kids run around all the tents every night and set off bangers at 11:30pm and the man next door who liked to inflate his airbed at 6am every morning....
