Liked Great location and clean facilities. The pub restaurant was absolutely amazing. You certainly get what you pay for. The staff were very welcoming and polite. It was a pleasure to stay here.
Disliked I have to mention the toilet and shower. For a site that can accommodate a fair few people having 1 toilet and 1 shower was very frustrating. Especially if you need to go but have to wait when the pub is closed. Also washing up facilities would be great as well.
Recycling of cans etc would be great as well.
Yes some mention the road noise but it is what it is.

Liked One of the cleanest campsites we have stayed at. Just can not fault this site at all. The coffee machine was a blessing i disguise. Didn't try the pizza. Maybe next time. Loved the dog field as did Jessie
Disliked Even though dogs must be kept on a lead. Owners decided their dogs didn't need to be which scared our dog who is a nervous dog. Also forget the farm shop near the site absolute rubbish.

10-amp powered grass and gravel campsite
Liked Loved the site. The peaceful surroundings away from the hustle & bustle of the main towns. Very clean and tranquil site that was perfect for our needs. We would most definitely stay again. The showers were really warm which is perfect.
Disliked We gave 4 stars due to the washing up areas being closed and only 1 sink able to be used. So we had to wait most days.
We also disliked other campers having no thought for others and leaving the toilets and shower areas dirty for others. Also if the hot water for the washing up areas could be hotter that would be great.

Liked Perfect site for a chilled break with my 14 year old son. Friendly owners that make you feel welcome. Great fire pits and they managed to find us some Marshmallows for my son. The showers are amazing. It's rare that you get HOT 🔥 showers at sites but these were lovely. Clean and tidy facilities.
Lovely farm animals except the Chicken that hunts for food and stole our loaf of bread BUT this is down to other campers feeding it. This is not a negative just don't feed the chicken lol.
Westward Ho a 45 min drive which isn't to bad and a lovely beach. Small town 5 min drive or 20 min cycle up hill for a pub. There are 2 pubs equal distance but the Red Lion has less steeper hill so if you're cycling try this pub.
No WiFi. You have a signal but drops out from time to time. Still managed to watch the football so all good
All in all 5 stars for me. I will return for sure.
Thanks Lakemoor.
Disliked The Chicken lol

Liked Clean, tidy site. Location was perfect for our needs to see family. The pool was good.
Disliked I think its a little over priced for what it is. We paid extra for electricity naturally but what we paid was double to what we had paid at the last site a few days earlier and their facilities were a lot more, washing machines etc. The A39 traffic is heard as we are so close and also nature will wake you in the early hours as well. The roaming Peacocks are noisy buggers.
Don't get me wrong it's a good site for some but not me. Oh and don't touch the light switch in the washing up room, it will give you an electric shock.
