Edenbridge, Kent, England
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Spacious campsite with great opportunity for lovely walks and a couple of local pubs within walking distance. Friendly owners.
It's under the flightpath to Gatwick but we like planes so that was a bonus.
Disliked Ground quite prickly but we were in the midst of the longest heatwave I can remember so I'd let that slide.

Shaftesbury, Dorset, England
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Amazing views and lovely uncrowded camp site. Shower and decent toilets, but still has a feel of 'wild'(ish) camping. Just 10 minutes walk into Shaftesbury town, and some nice long countryside walks close by. Purchased two bags of wood for £5/bag.

Chichester, West Sussex, England
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The camp site is surrounded by fields with a line a tress and a solitary church in the background. Pitches are large and nicely spaced, with tall grass between to give a greater sense of privacy. Each pitch has its own fire pit provided. We found the site to be prefect for our needs, and exceeded expectations.
Toilets were basic (think festival style porta-loos) but were clean and there was a tap & soap to wash your hands, wash plates & cutlery, etc.
Rob (the camp site host) greeted us on arrival and was very friendly.
Disliked Road noise can be heard late a night when all else is quiet, but I did not find it intrusive.
