Liked This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Lakes! We stayed here for 3 nights, and we couldn’t recommend it more. The host is super friendly, and provided the warmest welcome with flowers, drinks and cookies. The mini kitchen has everything you’d need, and the bathroom is modern. The pod is also toasty, with underfloor heating for if it gets cold and a radiator in the bathroom. It’s best to access the pod by car, of which it has a parking spot. It’s in the prime location, with only a 10-minute drive to Windermere village (where there’s a Booths), 20-minute drive to Ambleside and 30-minute drive to Grasmere. I can’t forget to mention the stunning view outside the front door! It’s the best place for a quiet retreat. We’ll definitely try to come back!
