Weymouth, Dorset, England
FHU grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Spacious although remember to take your chocks as it is a hilly one!
Very close to Chesil Beach & staff extremely friendly.
Didn’t try the Fat Badger 😔… ran out of time.
Weymouth by bus was s novelty…. Bus stop at Fords Corner about 10 mins walk away. Portland bus No 1 to Weymouth beach & town centre.
Disliked No specific route to the toilet/ shower facilities without walking over static homes gardens.. felt intrusive.
Maybe more signage would help.

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Size of pitches, friendly staff, clean facilities and entertainment was brilliant on the Friday & Saturday evenings in the barn.
Site shop was well stocked & useful!
Disliked The pub was the only disappointment, very expensive so not competitive for use by families and on the two occasions we visited .. virtually empty😥 which impacted on the atmosphere!

Powered grass campervan or trailer tent campsite (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Friendly owner Chantelle greeted us & allocated a pitch ( away from the trees as hubby has bad hay-fever) ) which was very kind. Seasonal guests we met were very welcoming so all in all a pleasant 2 night stopover.
Disliked Facilities need upgrading and a washing up area creating, upgrades planned for 25/2026 it seems.
Main road noise is deafening at times but that doesn't bother us… if you are sensitive.. be aware as it may keep you awake! Stock up on essentials as no little shops local!
