Bridport, Dorset, England
Primitive forest floor campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Really nice off grid site, some of the pitches are a bit small and shaded but as long as you make owner aware it’s not a problem if you need a sunnnier pitch to use solar etc. showers are great clean and spacious and toilets very clean despite being compost type. Would 100% go back.

Orchard primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (adults only)
Liked Great relaxed atmosphere. Liked the fact that you can have a camp fire on the site if you are careful. There was lots of food and entertainment on the campsite. All of the other people staying on site were very friendly, this is one of the best campsites we have stayed at in Dorset. No children are allowed at the site, which is ideal. If you are into a family friendly perfectly organised caravan club and wear a Pringle jumper this is probably not for you. If you are looking for something different and are into music then you should defiantly give this place a go !
Disliked The showers could have been a bit more powerful, a clean of the shower head may sort this but was a really low pressure when I showered. A place to empty a chemical toilet would be good as I could not see this on site. The male owner was a bit rude and abrupt to some of our party at times. The cost of the drinks was high at the bar, considering it was just cans of beer, if you are not into cider. Overall we really liked the place and will definitely come back.

Weymouth, Dorset, England
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (medium, semi-serviced)
Liked An OK site for a stop over, the entrance to the site is a 5 bar gate with a padlock that you have to collect the key from reception which means it is a hassle coming in and out of the site by car all the time. The showers and facilities are good but there is not much 'atmosphere' this is just a practical site for easy access to Weymouth and surrounding areas.
