Liked Health suite. Camping field was ideal with a great view and spotless toilet and showers. The cafe and the Gamekeeper inn were excellent. Also a nice walk to Grassington nearby.

Disliked Tiny pitches .. always someone literally looking straight into your van from couple of feet. Huge caravan park feel. We stayed two nights. Not for us. Quiet private and secluded works better!

Disliked From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. We were shown three potential pitches for our campervan, and we pointed out to staff that all of them were far too small to maneuver safely. We explicitly asked to pay for an upgrade to a more suitable space. Consequently, while trying to maneuver into the inadequate space we were forced into, our van sustained damage to the front bumper. When we raised this with reception, they were dismissive and refused to take any responsibility, claiming it was our fault.
The rest of the stay has been equally disappointing:
Restaurant: The food is of very poor quality. Everything served appears to be frozen, low-grade produce. Adding a few fresh pea shoots on top does not hide the fact that the quality is substandard.
Atmosphere: This is not a place for a relaxing break. The swimming pool and the pétanque area were consistently taken over by large groups of people who were intoxicated, screaming, and acting aggressively. It felt more like a rowdy holiday camp than a place to stay.
Between the damage to our vehicle, the dismissive attitude of the staff, the poor food, and the completely antisocial atmosphere, we would never return. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Note: If you are posting this on a public platform (like TripAdvisor or Google Reviews), this review is effective because it is specific, mentions safety concerns, and details the lack of professional service.

Liked We were disappointed by several aspects of our recent stay. On multiple nights, there were loud parties in the chalets, and particularly disruptive were gatherings on the campervan pitches that continued until 2:30 and even 3:00am — reportedly birthday celebrations. Unfortunately, these disturbances appeared to go unchecked.
Additionally, the shared facilities lacked toilet roll on two consecutive nights, which was both inconvenient and unhygienic.
We also encountered an issue with food service. A vegetarian cheese toastie was served containing ham, despite us clearly explaining that one member of our group does not eat meat. It was returned, but disappointingly, came back simply reheated — still with visible meat remnants in the cheese.
While we appreciate the laid-back, informal atmosphere and the ‘pitch-where-you-like’ policy, it does seem to come at the cost of oversight, particularly when it comes to noise control and basic hospitality standards.
