El Puerto de Santa María, Cadiz, Spain
Power optional earth travel trailer campsite (XXL)
Liked Easy access, good sized pitches. Good clean shower and toilet blocks. Lovely beach nearby and a dog beach. Also a shady woodland area where dogs can walk.
Disliked Poor WiFi. Only one restaurant which is next to the camp site, but not part of it. It seemed more run down than when we were there three years ago. The onsite Eroski supermarket was poorly stocked for the size of the campsite. Wristbands were needed for the pool.

Powered gravel and cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked So much! Nice pool which was the perfect temperature for me. Lovely garden area. Peaceful, adults only. Gorgeous covered lounge area which was a nice shaded place to sit and I think would be wonderfully cosy in winter. Very clean toilet and shower. All in all, a very nice site.
Disliked The co ordinates didn’t take us to the right place. Directions would have helped.
I found the sun loungers uncomfortable. The metal bar under the mesh wasn’t good to lie on. It wasn’t a major problem as there was plenty seating to choose from, but it would have been nicer if it had been cushioned.
The pitches are very small, had there been another vehicle next to us, we wouldn’t have been able to fully extend our awning, however the garden and lounge make up for this.

Powered grass RV campsite
Liked Reception staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of toilets, showers and washing up sinks. Never a need to queue. Express programmes on the washing machines. Bus stop directly outside so handy for getting into town.
Disliked Overall the site looked very untidy. Lots of fallen leaves, which can’t be helped but the planters all needed weeding and that would make everything look a lot tidier.

Powered grass and earth campsite
Liked Spacious pitches. Nice view across to the lake. Bar and snacks were convenient.
Disliked Not having access to the lake. Not the fault of the campsite at all but would have been nice to have known about it.

Los Gallardos, Almeria, Spain
FHU gravel and earth campsite
Liked Nice clean facilities. Bar with large terrace and entertainment (needs to be booked in advance). Fabulously well stocked shop. Staff all nice and polite. Lovely pool area. Fenced area where dogs could run around.
Disliked The pitches. We were on a gravel pitch overlooking some permanent pitches which were crowded with caravans/motorhomes, cars, awnings and storage containers. We felt as though we were sitting in a car park and it was very unappealing.
