Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked So good we haven’t left yet. Extended our stay and that says everything. Hosts are great fun and Claire talks as much as my hubby does 😂. Hubby was mountain biking and easy access to FOD trails and I just chilled with my four legged boy Rufus. Loved it and will deffo be back x

Liked Very quiet and scenic spot considering its close proximity to the hubbub. Third time we have stayed here as perfect central spot for us to visit family and friends. Have been for Xmas, summer hols and now springtime and never been disappointed. Loved watching the deer frolic from the camper bedroom window on waking and the bacon and sausage butties from the farm shop are lush. We are self sufficient in our camper so don’t need any additional facilities so suits us just fine 👍

Liked Great end pitch which was great for us and our 4 legged friend. Having a wonderful dog friendly village pub 200m from our van door made for the perfect evening. Were for the first time in our 2 week holiday able to enjoy the most delicious 3 course evening meal. We were made welcome even though our dog is on the larger side but a gentle giant and for this we thank you. Will be back for sure 👍

Liked Fantastic central and idyllic location from which to visit family and friends. Quiet, back to nature pretty site encompassed by established trees. Considering its proximity to the major road networks there was no traffic noise or light pollution. Nice flat field to park up and the sausage butties and morning coffee from the little on site farm shop were lush. Owner very friendly and accommodating. Dogs made very welcome with plenty of walks both on and directly from the site. All in all a great find. Will be back soon. Thank you 👍

From the manager: Thank you for your very kind words. It really is a peaceful little place, and very good for stargazing! Thank you for your compliments regarding our farm shop. It’s only a tiny venture, but we do try and offer decent hot drinks, cakes and butties (and treats for your dogs!) See you again soon.
