Powered grass campsite
Liked Good location, excellent facilities (the best shower I've ever had on a campsite!), lovely staff. A very friendly and welcoming place to camp.
Toilet and shower blocks were always extremely clean, no ,matter what time of day or night. It's not too big a place so feels less crowded than a lot of larger campsites.
Could only be improved imo if it was right on the beach!
Disliked This is just me, but our pitch was against the hedge that separated us from the kids football/play field, so noisy kids shouting until the noise curfew was a bit annoying (especially some of their colourful language!).
This is not the campsites' fault, I just prefer peace and quiet.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Close to the beach. I have been staying here every summer for 5 years. I mainly go with a bunch of mates but have also stayed in summer holidays with my daughter.
Kathy, the owner is really friendly and super chilled. She lets us (group of 10-12 lads, well blokes at least 40! She lets us all pitch together at the far end and any noise we make doesn't travel far. It's a basic site with basic (but clean) amenities, but is soooo good for how much it costs to stay. Will return year after year for sure.
Disliked Trying to get the toilet paper from the roll in the holders is a bit tedious, so I take my own roll.
It's very close to a train track, it doesn't bother me but some people might find it annoying. I always sleep with earplugs in camping so it's not an issue.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Stayed with my daughter (10 years old) for two nights. Fiona and her husband (I think his name was Pete) are lovely. Fiona is so warm and welcoming. What a lovely house they have. Amazing they have a little outbuilding with a toaster, microwave and kettle and a little fridge freezer, it has a table and chairs, proper light and electric socket so you can charge your devises properly and a few games too.
Next time we go (yes we would go back, my daughter loved it) I will take any old games we don’t use any more.
Some reviews have negative comments about toilets and showers but I’ve experienced a lot worse camping. I think it almost adds to the charm.
It’s a lovely location, 20 -30 minutes from most places you’d want to visit in Anglesey.
You can check in any time and there’s no rush to leave, a real bonus when leaving.
We were between 2 lovely families from Leeds.
Disliked Noisy folk that came on our last night, they camped down under the trees but the noise did travel. A lot of kids running around and playing right at our car and tent but didn’t cause any nuisance tbh, they were just kids being kids. And that’s me really having to think of finding something to fault, and that’s not the site’s fault.
