Primitive gravel RV campsite
Liked The cafe served good food, but was closed at night and wasn’t open until 10am.
Disliked Please read the reviews before you book, because you can stay in the car park for free overnight.
We arrived here expecting to be on a campsite, and drove around the back of the building to a very steep hill. We drove to the car park to find that the pitch was actually in the car park!
It’s £17 a night, when you could park there for free overnight and get a car park ticket In morning for under £5.
Yes they allow overnight use of toilets, but someone had taken the key out of the lockbox and locked themselves in the toilets so they could shower so we were unable to use the facilities.
Next to a busy and at times noisy, main road.
I would suggest that the owners drop the charge to reflect what people are actually paying for.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Views, large campsite, host was friendly and informative
Disliked Although I’m fine with the fact that the campsite doesn’t have showers, as was aware when booking, I’m unsure why they don’t as they had hot water on site.
