Absolutely basic, wild rustic and alone in a small woodland area, surrounded by fields. Perfect getaway without any narrow lanes or obstacles to get there. Directions are spot on. Plenty of space to choose a level spot to set up camp. It had a very relaxed feel.
Our host Matt was friendly and attentive without being obtrusive, he replied quickly to any messages we sent him.
Wonderful location for a completely wild camp. Would be perfect for den building and campfires with family and friends. Lots of space to roam around in an enclosed area that would be safe to let the kids explore.
Very quiet roads (perfect for light sleepers) but a great base for travelling around the area.
There are no facilities at all, which gives it a special off grid feel. Will definitely return.
