Lovely clean facilities, great food, kids loved the goats and the birds of prey. Close to cropredy for a pub lunch. Overall a fantastic stay

Friendly site with the farm animals and a shop. Fun play area for the children.

Factualities, showers and wash up were not adequate for the size of the camp site.

Large flat field where you can pitch anywhere except electric pitches (unless you booked that obvs!)

Next to a very noisy train line - trains every 5-10 minutes and blowing their horn every time. For this reason alone I wouldn’t stay here again.
Facilities basic and not particularly clean. There was no hot water at the mid-field wash up station.
It’s one large field, so although you can pitch anywhere there’s no hedges or trees to block sound or increase privacy.

Very nice rural location, plenty of space and well laid out . Animals and birds of prey , play area for younger children.

We like the old dairy farm very much and will stay again. The site is clean and well maintained, however bins in the kitchen wash up area were not always emptied and there was not hot water in the lower toilet block during our stay. Showers were kept clean during our stay, but the water pressure was very poor in the gents toilets and one of the sinks was unavailable due to a faulty plug.

Location, facilities

Showers would benefit from an overall, inconsistent cleaning of showers and toilets. On site shop had to call to access same with any staff.

Stayed at this campsite last year as it’s enroute to the ferry for us. The goats and birds are a real winner for us. The owners have given them such a good home with plenty of space and entertainment so they don’t get bored. The goats of course are particularly entertaining! Lovely hot showers and an elsan which is like no other I’ve seen! A beautiful setting with stunning flowers around the facilities.

Nothing to say here really. The showers are in the middle of a revamp which are needed so hopefully they’ll include a screen so towels/clothes don’t get water spray and a shelf for toiletries would be useful.

Nice location reasonably quiet apart from regular trains up and down all day and some of the night.
Loved the goats and birds of prey,

Noisy kids and constant smell from fire pits which are allowed if you buy logs from the site ,The kids next to us went foraging for anything that would burn ,
Cant imagine what the food tasted like that they cooked over the flames,
Had to shut all the vents in the motorhomes due to the smell from fire pits,

Counted about 30 fire pits the first night we stayed, site was full of mainly tents ,
After the weekend the place was empty apart from about eight families but still a constant smell wood burning .
I am not a misery but people who want to camp the old fashioned way should be placed far away from those who don't want a burning smell in their caravan or motorhome. No good for anyone with chest problems

On first impression looked a little rustic, but lovely campsite, served a purpose.
We didn’t use the facilities on this occasion
Would stay again.

The site was welcoming and the facilities were clean. We stayed midweek so it was quiet on the site. There were some good walks from the campsite, to the Oxford Canal and the village of Cropredy. Lovely to hear all the birds singing in the morning.
