Liked: Having been on many campsites in my time the things you care for are toilets, showers and wash area. This campsite had all these are they were in excellent condition and working order. Praising a shower on a campsite is normally unheard of but I have to pay compliments for the showers at this campsite. Also the location was very good being close to Keswick!
Disliked: This can't be helped but there is little to no signal on this site for EE phone users. No WiFi.

Liked: Great campsite with all you need and amazing views. Toilets and showers were clean and well looked after. The Swinside pub is about 3min walk and its food is unreal. The owners made us feel welcome and were very friendly.

Liked: Beautiful location, love Newlands valley. Very close to fell walks and Derwent water, Keswick just an hour walk. Very relaxed environment and well maintained site. Been going for years and will continue to do so. Owners are very friendly and helpful

Liked: Fantastic campsite. Lovely clean toilet and shower block. Well kept site and fantastic location 20 minutes walk from catbells. 15 minute drive to Keswick centre and Buttermere. Had all the facilities we needed. We were greeted on arrival and all very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Could maybe use a second skip for everyone’s rubbish as it was very full.

Liked: Great campsite. Quiet & secluded. Lovely pub, Swinside Inn just up the road.
Able to have a fire (available to rent if you haven’t your own, along with buying more logs). Toilet blocks regularly cleaned throughout the day. Limited 3/4G data - take that as a good or bad thing.
