The on site swimming pool; access to the private beach; the fantastic dog exercise area with ball throwers and balls provided to use; the spectacular sea views from the site; the immaculate caravan which was equipped with everything you could need as well as generous extras such as doggie treats, tea, coffee, biscuits, a cleaning pack containing a cloth, scourer, bin bags, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets as well as shampoo and soap. Bedding and beautifully presented towels (swans and elephants). A selection of walks from the site.

The view was incredible! We were right on the edge of the cliff and it was stunning to wake up to that view! Wow!
The children’s play area was really good also and entertained our 6 & 4 year old!
They also had a games room which was great on a rainy evening!
There were lots of showers and toilets so no need to wait.

    Disliked:

The shower and toilet block was outdated and not very clean.
The winds were really, really bad and there was no one checking on peoples awnings/advising us to take it down or helping us. We’ve been to friendlier sites.
It was a very big site, which is of course fine, but not what we usually like so one for us when booking really.
    WiFi is £5 a day.

Thank you for leaving your comments for us following your recent stay on one of our kestrel Fully Serviced grass campervan pitches.
It is good to read that all of our facilities are doing what they need to do.
We sometimes have a difficulty with leaving our customers to make their own decisions with regard to their stay with us, why would we question if you are less able than another camper when it comes to reading the weather reports or to deciding if it is time to take your awning down to prevent damage whilst the weather is a little 'coastal'
Our wardens did spend quite a long part of their time making sure the tents were checked upon and spoke to customers who were off the park to return to put their camp safe.
It is always tricky looking after a campsite especially when the weather happens without too much warning.

Great swimming pool and shop too!

    Disliked:

The wind! Very windy site which wasn’t the camps fault obviously.
Not a lot for older kids to do In

From the manager...

Thank you for leaving you comments following your recent stay on one of our Peregrine fully serviced motorhonme pitches.
Believe it or not it is not always windy at Morfa Bychan Holiday Park, global warming ? Who knows.
What things were you looking to do with your older kids ? kayaking, surfing, beach explorations, cyscle hire, mountain biking, there is a multitude of things on leaflets available in the games lounge and pretty sure if you have spoken to the staff they could have pointed to places and things to do.

Our 2nd camping trip to Morfa …08/20/2024

Our 2nd camping trip to Morfa Bychan, did the same week in Aug in 2022. Just as nice as it was back then, lovely location, very friendly staff, great indoor/outdoor pool. People complain about the single track road in and out of the site, still never had a problem with it, just leave and arrive each day, as per the guidance and you'll be fine.
The weather really battered our tent this time, wind seemed relentless last week, next time could be a treat to one of the new static caravans for hire.

    Disliked:

Minor thing; the food truck was there every day on our first visit. this time the food truck was only there on the Sunday.

From the manager...

Thank you Alex for your second stay with us on a tent pitch, feel free to keep an eye on the bookings being available for 2025 in one of our hire caravans.
We were dissapointed at the food truck situation but things change and we are actively hoping for more days coverage in 2025

The view is fantastic, the park is clean and well presented it has its own beach a nice heated pool and the best sunsets. All the staff are very helpful

    Disliked:

Wi-Fi is provided by a 3rd party, it’s expensive and has terrible coverage on the touring section. This was not advertised by the site due to the above reasons but we were not aware of limited functionality until after purchase.

From the manager...

Thank you for staying with us and leaving your comments following on from your stay on one of our grass touring pitches.
Loving those sunset photos.

Workingon the optional wifi, the phone signal varies from one to another and some such as EE seem to work so much better than the park wifi.

Wow! What a fantastic view. We were on Plot Peregrine 4, with unobstructed views over the sea. A great sized pitch with a bench to sit and watch the dolphins in the bay.
The staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful. Beautifully kept park.

    Disliked:

Only downside is the very dated shower block but looking at plans there are new ones coming later 2024/25.
The two and a half mile road leading to the park is beautiful but only a single file, step lane with a few passing spaces. We were in a motorhome and met a couple of cars coming down, luckily we were not far from a small pull in but a caravan may struggle more to reverse but when you reach the entrance to the park it’s worth it!

From the manager...

Thank you Heather for leaving your comments following on from your recent stay on one of our newest Peregrine pitches.
We are all looking forward to our new washrooms coming very soon.
Hopefully you were using the recommended access lane to and from the park, arrival after 2pm and departure before 12 noon and not the right hand access which is only suitable for cars/smaller vehicles.
Our neighbours are aware of the agreement we have to ask our larger vehicles arriving to do so as arranged.
We can only apologies and enforce the request we have for access reasons as we are not close to the main busy A487 and tucked away quiet and peaceful, and it is so worth it once you are here.

Top notch site, the kids loved the pirate park and the pool. The view is another level!

Site is really tight on the “site rules” but for good reason, very good site.

Stay topped off with a stroll along the beach and a few seal visitors popping their heads above the waves, we will be back!
