The Campsite was great, views are stunning. Well maintained site.
The play park was fab, well thought out design.
The pool was a great addition to our stay, kids loved it- big size, warm as well. (Kids are 10&8)

Great access to the coastal path- we hiked to and from Aberystwyth for a day. (Bit blowy at the top) Our pooch very much enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the pebble beach- hunting for sea shells.

They have a dog exercising area with tennis balls and throwers. Benches are super comfy!

Toilets and showers although the decor was outdated- it really doesn’t affect the use- warm powerful showers- in the womens were spacious and easy to use.

The washing machine facility another great addition- if you can get in to use them. Always busy.

It isn’t within short walking distance to anything. You will need a vehicle to access shops or attractions.

Although this isn’t a controllable feature for the campsite- the wind levels being on the very edge of the coast and pitch location were quite unnerving. We experienced 60mph winds - and in a campervan was a little scary.
Our side tent got battered after numerous days of strong winds.
So as a note to prospective campers- it does get very windy.

Male toilets/facilities: My husband found it tricky to get him and our 8yr old in one as much smaller- the bigger/family one was always occupied. (They have plans to renovate the blocks)

Facilities were nice and clean, location was beautiful but very windy! Not so easy in a tent...

Hot water in the showers wasn't the easiest - had to hold the tap down for a little bit which caused water to leak near it. Games room was ok but some machines didn't work.

Extremely well keep grounds and superb pitches. We stayed on a hard standing pitch with electric and water points, we had an amazing view with a wooden seating table and chairs, a lovely touch.
Toilets blocks are extremely well looked after, very clean and warm.
Good facilities, one of the nicest sites we’ve stayed on.

The weather wasn't the best but they can't control that.

We are currently walking the Welsh Coastal Path so chose this site based purely on its location and were delighted with not just the location but the site itself was clean, staff friendly, garden and pool lovely. We would definitely return, thanks.

Absolutely beautiful place, great views, so clean and tidy, lovely vibe and everywhere you walk or drive you can see the attention to detail with all the landscaping.
Caravan was beautiful, clean, new, had everything we needed and more.

Second year running at this site - great facilities - swimming pool a massive plus, staff not as attentive/friendly this occasion - but appeared a little busier than previous year.

This site suffers from the exposed coastline (also one of its draws) so considering the wind/tail end of hurricane - the site was a complete tent destroyer - not the sites fault (but they could look at hedging maybe to buffer some areas or offer area more secluded?? Further back on site?) as I state - not sites fault - but people do need to be aware and as a second year attending the wind was also heavy the previous year - not as bad but still a blustery site.

Heading out of site into the general road areas there was a distinct difference in wind force.

Just come back from a week stay. Nice clean site. Toilets and showers need updating but were clean. Grandchildren enjoyed the pool. Play park was small and games room was expensive particularly wifi at £5 per day.

Lovely site very clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Shower rooms are amazing. A nice walk down the locks to the town .definitely would stay again
