Friendly greeting on arrival. Easy to get situated on the site and lovely clean toilet block..didn't use their showers but they looked clean.

I enjoyed a lovely stay at Holly Bush Park with my two dogs. Paul, the warden was superb, so helpful and friendly and always around to ask any questions or to just check all ok.
The pitch was close to amenities which were clean and convenient. I particularly liked the 'dog park' hooks outside so I could leave the dogs tied up safely whilst I used the facilities.
Enjoyed some lovely (and muddy) walks across the road in the woods.

Easy to access. Friendly welcome. Lovely woodland walk across the road from the site. There is a pub nearby too.

The site had many caravans & motor homes on site, but most seemed unoccupied. This gave a rather unusual feel to the place. Did not use the facilities, so cannot comment on those.

staff were very friendly and helpful. Site was very clean, toilets spotless.

Overall on a scale 1 to 10 would give it a good 8.5 and that is only because we were not there long enough to give it a ten.

Toilets were really cold.

Warden was so helpful lending f us a cable as ours did not reach power points

The surrounding woods and nature

The campsite. We got there (the lower field) and first noticed the 2 abandoned caravan/motorhome which was not a good start. Manager explained they were being removed but wanted to put us next to them, chose another pitch but that was next to a guy who we didn't feel comfortable with and he was playing loud music from his caravan. Then we saw a big dangerous dog and thought it wasn't the right place for our 2 year old. He was muzzled but I don't think their policy allowed them to be on site, so we decided to leave. Told the guy but refused to give us the money back for 3 nights.

The couple that were wardens. They were so helpful, friendly and worked very hard.

The site could be a quiet, relaxing place. But it was like staying at a valeting compound.
Siting outside trying to enjoy the weather, all you could hear was power washers, hoovers, vans being loaded from one to the other. Water spraying, running over pitches/caravans.
With all this, the atmosphere was zero.
Caravans/motorhomes are getting bigger but the plots are still very small. We couldn’t fit our caravan and car on our pitch let alone fitting an awning aswell.

Informative and friendly welcome and local advice during stay. Whole site tidy and toilets/showers spotlessly clean.
