A nice site with good clean facilities

When booking, you have to choose a pitch type but they didn't seem to have a record of our booking when we arrived and we had to wait while they found us a pitch and insist to get the type of pitch we had booked (and paid for). Also, when we got back from a day out, another van had been allocated our pitch so we had to spend our last night in the lower field. Nice site apart from booking mix ups.

On arrival a lovely warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble . It was our first time camping and the warden was very helpful often offering advice when asked .
Campsite is Very clean and well presented. Toilets and showers a very good standard and were cleaned daily and weren’t too far away from our pitch . Pub outside has very nice feel to it and excellent food. Highly recommend the walk through the country lanes to the lakes .
Overall we will definitely return and next time with a larger tent

Booked last minute. We were heading home from a trip to France and the M5 was closed. Super helpful and friendly owner. Great facilities with a nice pub 5 minutes walk away.

Well maintained site, pub next door did amazing food.
Yes the toilet block is dated but it is kept clean and tidy with a lovely hot shower.

Welcome was a little unwelcoming.

Very relaxed and easy site with the staff extremely good and welcoming.
Toilet and shower block clean and just right, plus washing up facilities, laundry if needed all spot on
