Loved the Hens Den!! Such a lovely unique little site, nestled amongst beautiful apple trees in the Orchard, with great views of the Devon countryside! We loved the set up and the great facilities! Really good shower and toilet facilities and even a kitchen with washing machine, toaster, microwave, kettle, all available to use! There is also a outdoor seating area with a fire pit. We would love to come back one day when our grandkids are a bit older and they can play hide and seek amongst the apple trees! This is a small but well equipped site and a breath of fresh air from the bigger more traditional sites! Thank you

Small, quiet, well maintained site

What a gem of a find! A beautiful little spot in a perfect location, just a ten minute walk to the South West Coastal path. It was so beautiful parking up surrounded by apple trees and with gorgeous views of rolling hills all around.
The facilities were immaculately clean - there was a communal kitchen with a toaster, washing machine, fridge and kettle, a lovely picnic spot and firepit. There is also a little self-service shop a few metres down the road where you can buy milk, eggs and the most delicious apple juice. You can see and feel the care and love that have been put into this site and I will definitely be back.

This place was really lovely! Small campsite in an apple orchard next to an organic farm, very easy to find, great , comfortable and clean showers and toilets, help yourself to apples and perfect place to go out and about into Torquay and surrounding area.

Nothing not to like really, location was superb, facilities very clean and tidy and some nice touches like the farm shop, washing facilities and kitchen area. Gerry the owner was always on hand for anything and very friendly and Ted the dog was a little star! Overall a most pleasant relaxing stay away from the beaten track. The weather was not kind to us on our stay but the site held it's own and it was nice to have a piping hot shower at the evening. Well done guys!

The wash facilities; when fully completed they will be amazing. The kitchen facilities are generous. Lovely to sleep in between rows of apple trees!

We had a fantastic stay. It’s so peaceful and the individual kitchenette and toilet were great. The kids loved the games room. The location is great for getting to Torquay / Paignton or Teignmouth etc. It’s also really close to the coast if you like walking the coast path like we do. We’d definitely come again.

- Tent pegs were a little difficult to put into the ground but this wasn’t a major problem at all.
- Hand towel would have been nice in the bathroom but such a minuscule point it really didn’t matter.
