Very relaxed, cozy, sort-of-hidden-gem atmosphere. Shower and toilet facilities clean and always available, with shampoo and other amenities. Opportunities for campfires and BBQ made real by provisions being on site. Being a small group of youngsters wanting to experiencing tent camping, it met our every needs and even went beyond. Lady who runs the site was very kind and was always available. Also she has a cute dog!

it was very good nice side nice folks there will go back again and again very fomfy caravan nice and clean not like hotels very good will tell my friends and family to book in haugh rigg farm and the good thing is their can bring their dogs

Great location, nice chilled quiet field. Stayed two nights, brought fire pit with wood, but the offer of more wood was there. Great for our dog who was able to run around a bit. Shower was a godsend! Loraine the owner very nice and lent us towels as we'd forgotten ours!

Lovely little campsite just out of Pickering. Owner was present on arrival and as we were the first to arrive let us choose our tent pitch. She told us where everything was and made us feel very welcome. The pitch was flat and spacious and we were also greeted by the resident dog Bo who was very friendly. She came round the next day to check everything was okay and recommended a beach walk which we did on the way home and was lovely. Showers only a £1 for a lovely hot shower in end of September weather. Cute little touches around the site with honesty box for drinks if needed. Toilets were clean and out of the way of the campsite so not disturbed during the night. Would definitely go again. Dog friendly and dog allowed off lead within reason. The site is adjacent to a sheep field so we tethered ours whilst cooking etc to avoid any nuisance. I also got good service on my phone which was a surprise given it being out of the way.
