Liked: Lovely quiet site with lots of space. Loved the little touches like bbq borrowing corner, fire wood honesty box, glow in the dark pebbles on the footpath to the toilets.
Disliked: Getting there. Sat nav stops before you reach the site on a single track. Could do with some signs to let you know you’re on the right road and to keep going
Hi, thank you for your review, there is a sign at the end of the main road where you turn off it says Haugh Rigg Farm 1 mile, but I will put up some more this year.

Liked: Chose this site because of its size and location and campfires allowed. Very happy, so quiet, only birdsong and sheep! Beautiful surroundings, very convenient for Pickering and only 30 minutes from Whitby. Basic facilities but good strong shower and all kept very clean. 50p more than enough for 2 to shower!

As for your dislike paying for shower!! Let me explain why there is a cost, if showers were free then in hot weather people would be in them all the time , then the next moan would be you can't get in the shower. Hope that you see now why that is. And anyone else reading this. The shower is a mere 50p and it runs for ages!
